Susan and Allen were asked to create a series of over 400 identification key illustrations for the newly renovated Milstein Hall of Ocean Life at the American Museum of Natural History. Reference material provided by AMNH included raw Alvin footage, specimen photos and in the case of ancient whale anatomy and markings, "pure speculation". In addition to our diving experience, we both have strong backgrounds in marine biology and natural science which made us a good fit for this project so dear to our hearts.
